Strong rumours that these two are coming to QPR for next season to sign relatively short term contacrts (approx 2 years) - 2 very big names and 1 former world player of the year.
Part of me would love to see these players at Loftus Road and it is undoubtedly a sign of which direction the club is going in and how much money the owners are going to offer, becasue Figo's wage bill will definetly be high.
However, i am slightly concerned if these are the only tpes of players we will be adding to the squad, old heads lacking in pace, because it is clear that the only reason these two would come to Loftus Road is both because of the money and the fact that they are unable to get Prem football.
It is good to add this calibre of player to the squad but we must also add some young talent, from the top of the championship and middle of the Prem and i would be just as happy to see Shittu, Crainie, Earnshaw and Cook as i would be Figo and Carr.
Either way, if Figo does come i know who is going to be on the back of my shirt next year!
